Implementation power of Mercury

Mercury manifests and fulfills the many wishes and needs of the Moon, whose son he is astrologically. In order to fulfill the countless wishes and needs of his "Moon Father" in this world as best as possible, Mercury must plan and organize with focus and precision. This is because the concrete reality that can be found in this world has many limitations and restrictions. Mercury is the planner, manager and organizer par excellence; there is no one more capable than him. He meticulously analyzes all available resources and then uses them in an optimal way to achieve the planned goal. Little Mercury is always prudent and makes sure that even the smallest details are taken into account in his planning. After stocktaking has been carried out - in commercial enterprises, for example, an inventory with a list of all assets and debts is made during the annual inventory - Mercury then manages - by cleverly grouping the many sub-elements - to repeatedly create a new, up-to-date overview of the company. This is helpful for one's own overview and orientation and is very important for decision making.

However, not only for the entrepreneur himself, but also for external persons, such an annual balance sheet together with further information on the annual financial statements forms an indispensable basis for communication and decision-making. Mercury can thus more easily enter into conversation and business with other people, and others with him. In order to meet the different needs of the users of annual financial statements, the competent Mercury prepares the same actual facts of the financial year differently depending on the addressee of the communication: while preparing annual financial statements under commercial law for the company's creditors, he prepares annual financial statements under tax law for the state, and again under international accounting standards for international investors: the different addressees of annual financial statements have their own wishes and needs, which Mercury wants to meet, because they too have moons. How complex the actual social coexistence is, considering the many wishes and needs of each of us!

That's why Mercury conscientiously adheres to standards and defined rules. He is the lawyer who draws up a contract which, after negotiations, is signed by both parties and then becomes legally effective and binding for both parties. In this way he creates legal certainty and makes the rights and obligations of the individual contracting parties clear and transparent: each contracting party knows what it can rely on and what it can expect. And if a contractual breach of duty occurs which cannot be resolved out of court, the contract can be enforced in court if necessary. In court, the responsible judge will then take a close look at the agreed contract text and all the presented arguments and submitted evidence and will thus arrive at a reasoned court decision by legal means.

Often the legal judgement and above all the justification (as well as quite generally a large part of law) is purely linguistic acrobatics. Mercury also stands for this. He pays so much attention to speech and communication because he knows exactly how important a well-chosen language and factual communication are for peaceful coexistence in society. This includes oral and written language and communication in equal measure. The judge therefore reads the agreed text of the contract very carefully and examines how the facts at hand are to be classified under the relevant legal rules written in language. Fact characteristic after fact characteristic he will examine, and if he arrives at ambiguities during the examination of individual fact characteristics and/or if the circumstances cannot be assigned clearly to the characteristic, then there are again standardized interpretation methods of the contractual and legal language texts. Even the order of application of the interpretation methods is specified. Thus, if all the constituent elements of a legal norm are fulfilled, the judge arrives at the conclusion that a certain legal consequence has occurred, which he then communicates in an (ideally conciliatory) judgment to the disputing parties "in the name of the people".

In this sense, Mercury stands for the entire positive, i.e. socially set and concretely present, law (in contrast to the " superpositive" law, which is inspired by legal and nature-philosophical considerations). Even if the legal system of rules and regulations in practice certainly appears in some places like a tangled web of rules and sub-rules with innumerable conditional and suspensive rules, the prudent Mercury thereby only pursues the goal of actually enabling and maintaining a fair and functioning coexistence of people in society. Over time, the ideas of a society change and find their expression in changing nuances of the legal order, with which Mercury, if it happens in an agreed, parliamentary way, is also in complete agreement, because according to his views, everyone should be able to prosper and develop optimally according to his or her wishes and needs.

On the other hand, Mercury is always looking for new possibilities within and at the boundaries of the regulatory framework. The word "possibility" is, so to speak, synonymous with Mercury. With mercurial skill - not for no reason does "mercurial" also mean commercial and business-minded and was the ancient Roman god of commerce named Mercury - the Mercury-inspired merchant tries to get the maximum possible out of a business deal and to make full use of all available possibilities. Mercury regards the world of business and trade as a game. That's why he also represents gaming arcades - many casinos and gambling houses have Mercury in their name - and sports fields. Mercury has fun playing the game and doing his best to be the winner of the game. In this sense he is an absolute performer who regularly achieves and delivers top performances - in the world of gaming as well as in the business world. Mercury is always "busy" and has a searching eye for the existing possibilities and combinations of possibilities ... and combinations of combinations of possibilities. Given the existing possibilities and individual preferences of consumers, it must be possible, Mercury thinks, to put together a new bundle of services and products in such a way that if I just package it properly and present it in the right light, I will find many paying customers. Mercury considers this to be a sporting challenge that he enjoys taking on. He calculates his risk in professional detachment and plans the individual steps, which he then only needs to carry out (by himself or delegated to others or even better in teamwork). If something interferes during implementation, the plan simply has to be modified, revised or discussed and negotiated anew. For example, in the case of foreing trade, a so-called (German) "Hansa-Mercury" travel insurance policy can be contracted as security or a state-backed "Hermes guarantee" (the messenger of the gods Hermes was the Greek equivalent of the Roman god Mercurius) can be applied for in order to mitigate economic risk. Whatever happens, a solution will be found. After all, the curious and playful Mercury is entertaining, artistic, talented and skilled enough to make this new project a complete success. What a fun!

To always strengthen and maintain a positive atmosphere and climate, Mercury is very interested in exchange, communication and friendly relations. Everyone in the team should feel comfortable, but above all the customers. That's why service and service orientation is also a top priority for many service-oriented companies - such as the international hotel chain "Mercure" for example - because only if the customer feels comfortable, will he be a returning customer. To do this, Mercury cultivates the customer relationship and talks to the customer and responds to his needs. The customer should be able to have his say and his voice should be heard. After all, only very few have such a voluminous, powerful and expressive voice as Freddy Mercury, the singer of Queen, who was originally called Farrokh Bulsara and who chose the stage name Mercury - he has indeed an exalted Mercury placed "at its best" position in the zodiac sign Virgo - all by himself. If the individual expression and self-expression cannot be "voiced" as easily, then Mercury addresses the customer actively and friendly, asks him questions and inquires about his condition. This is the only way to find out how the customer is doing and what his or her needs are. Mercury knows that if we communicate and talk to each other, we can adjust to each other better. In such a way, small-scale as as well as large-scale, if an active, open communication is maintained, problems are prevented, as e.g. sensitivities and feelings of work colleagues and trade partners are appreciated and can be expressed more or important information are being communicated to the appropriate persons, leading to an adjustment of actions without unnecessary delay or to unnecessary, superfluous actions being avoided in the first place. This facilitates the exchange and division of labor. Once efficient communication structures and systems have been established that can be relied on and are actually lived, this ultimately benefits all those involved in an organization and in the market. Ideally, a higher degree of specialization can also be achieved in this way, if desired, because thanks to successful communication and communication systems, the many market participants can now exchange information with each other even more profitably for both sides and align their marginal utilities.
